APA (2002) Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct 2002. Washington, DC: American Psychological Association. [available online]

This revised version of the APA's ethical guidelines supersedes the 1992 version as of June 2003. Naturally broader than the BACP's ethical framework (BACP 2002a), it is not directly comparable because it covers all of psychology, rather than just counselling.

BACP (2002a) Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Revised Edition. Rugby, England: British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. [available online]

This is the ethical framework to which all members of the BACP adhere. It is interesting to compare the broader APA (2002).
